Many college graduates are surprised to find their four-year STEM degree did not impart the skills and experiences needed to gain an entry level lab position.
This “skills gap” is particularly evident in the biosciences by the large numbers of college graduates who are unable to work independently, perform essential techniques, plan practical procedures and troubleshoot technical outcomes.
At Pathways to Stem Cell Science, we’re working to tackle the “biosciences skills gap” by offering industry standard training in essential laboratory techniques.
We provide custom hands-on training for a wide array of universities* and colleges* in addition to open enrollment courses available to any college aged student.

Pathways to Stem Cell Science is a major training center for two CIRM funded workforce development programs – Bridges to Stem Cell Research and Therapy Program and COMPASS (Creating Opportunities through Mentorship and Partnership Across Stem Cell Science) Programs.
